I am not sure about this, but the Files To Share might  be off limits to people who don't really post because we might get people signing up just to dowload songs. Just a hunch though. Maybe if you get more involved you'll get the prize soon? Wink

I've been enjoying this so far but I have one question.

Anyone know who contributes the rap to "track 14"?  He sounds sort of familiar but I can't place it.

Edit: The rappers are the same guys who performed Get9: James Miller and Eddie Warren

Ah, my box finally arrived today... listening through the Tachikoma files right now.

smooth in the shell is awesome, finally an album I feel that's closer to the "core" of GitS: SAC music (I mean, how the music feels when you're watching the series). Recognized many pieces from the show, though I regret the non-inclusion of the "killing theme" from 2nd GIG episode 04.

Haha, Omake1 is actually p'od pod (it's "let's oil", got mixed up). The Tachikoma files are like a collection of CM pieces from Grand Funk. ^^

Hey guys, can you recommend a program where i can split this huge mp3 into multiple mp3s?  I'm probably just going to number the tracks, but i would hate to fastfoward to the songs i want to listen all the time.

PS. Holy damn, this is a really good soundtrack. It combines dark orchestral and techno stuff the best out of all other tracks, which is basically my favorite part of the GITS:SAC core. Like Pulseczar said, it really is like the core of gits sac.

Still i wish they had that orchestral version of Run Rabbit Junk.

Try SONY VEGAS. The audio and video editor can be used perfectly for this.

I've got mine too! Smooth in the Shell is so nice! And I'm happy to hear the Tachikoma song Tenohira wo Taiyou ni (from last episode of 2nd gig).

A couple of interesting bits of information about the CD-Box booklet:

1) Gabriela Robin is mistakenly credited as vocalist for "replica" in SSS OST.

2) There are lyrics for "A.I. Sentai Tachikomanzu". They were previously unpublished, right?

3) It came with a small paper marker announcing AKINO's new album ("title undecided" - at least it was back when the CD-box release was pushed back...) and also Ragnarok Online II OST, both to be released this fall by Victor. Guess the standard RO2 OST won't take very long now that the game is being tested in Japan.

(Actually the lyrics for "AI Sentai Tachikomanzu" are in my copy of "be Human" on the last page of the booklet.

"hitori de itsumo   fukusuukei seibetsu nante  nai keredo" etc. ) ^^;

OMG, after three years only now I noticed it! I'm kind of glad there's still something for me to discover about her albums ^^;;;

For those who have this album as a single music file see here (http://www.gits-fans.com/ddl/OST4/) for a cuesheet to help seperate the tracks while listening^
